Smalley Road Runners
Welcome to SRR
Smalley Road Runners is an ever-growing running club based in Heanor/Smalley – Derbyshire. We currently have over 300 members of all abilities ranging from Couch to 5K (C25K) to Ultra Runners (further than a traditional marathon).
Our friendly club prides itself on being fully inclusive and is currently split into 5 different ability groups for our Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions. We cater for absolute beginners, intermediate groups (Inters B & A) and those who are more Advanced (Advanced B & A).
All groups have dedicated leaders, co-leaders and support runners. No one gets left behind.
Whilst remaining competitive, we also enjoy the social aspect of running. Our main aim is to enjoy ourselves and have fun whilst keeping fit and healthy.

Great North Run 2023
Sunday 10th September 30+ amazing orange wonders descended on Newcastle for the Great North Run and what a day it was with scorching sun to start and biblical rain in the afternoon! Everyone did amazing, well done everyone!
Lyra Hope 5 Memorial Race 2023
Wednesday 6th September An amazing selection of the orange family took part in the Lyra Hope 5 Memorial Race tonight and absolutely smashed it. Well done everyone!
Wilne 10k 2023
Sunday 3rd September 30+ amazing orange clad people descended on the Wilne 10k this morning and what a morning it was. Loads more photos are on the SRR Facebook page album Well done everyone!
